Fred v1.2.5 connects research evidence with more of the tools teams use every day. New integrations with Slack, Jira, PostHog, Google Analytics, and Google Calendar allow external signals and workflow actions to become part of the insight and reporting process.
External evidence can now support findings and reports alongside research collected directly in Fred. The AI foundation was also strengthened with explicit consent evidence, retrieval-backed context, and controlled proposed actions. Additional fixes improved authentication, billing, calendar scheduling, analytics, and media processing.
Fred v1.2.4
Fred v1.2.4 delivers a significant upgrade to behavioural and video analysis. New analytics-quality indicators help teams understand the strength and completeness of available data, while expanded video analysis supports signals such as prosody, interaction markers, and AI-assisted reaction analysis.
Teams can also upload recorded sessions manually and review them within the same analytics experience. Custom welcome and thank-you pages provide more control over participant journeys, while improvements to authentication, signup, legal information, and User Sphere scheduling make study delivery more reliable.
Fred v0.13.0
Fred v0.13.0 expands the depth of its AI-assisted research workflows. New capabilities include AI-supported theming and bulk tagging, saved prompts, evidence packs, proposed actions, and usage monitoring. These tools help teams organize larger bodies of evidence while retaining greater control over generated outputs.
User Sphere scheduling also became more closely integrated with Fred through session booking, invitations, reminders, and a dedicated sessions workspace. Template editing, study autosave, notifications, and billing-integrity controls received additional improvements.
Fred v0.12.0
Fred v0.12.0 introduces K-Insights, a new AI-assisted workspace for exploring research evidence, generating structured insights, and preparing report drafts. Teams can work with project context and source references while moving more quickly from raw data to reviewable findings.
The release also introduces eye tracking, expanded camera and video research capabilities, and improved video analytics. A new upload and storage foundation adds stronger quota accounting, multipart uploads, cleanup processes, and secure image exports, making media-intensive research more dependable at scale.
Fred v0.10.0
Fred v0.10.0 focuses on the reliability of signup, authentication, and billing. Google signup and account linking became more robust, while subscription and Stripe webhook handling were improved to reduce failed or inconsistent onboarding states.
File-upload validation, sample-project analytics, and cache handling were also strengthened. Alongside these backend improvements, the release refined analytics presentation, modal consistency, dark mode, and several study and participant interactions.
Fred v0.9.9
Fred v0.9.9 makes plan limits clearer and more consistent across projects and studies. Access rules are now enforced more reliably, helping teams understand which resources are available under their current plan without creating inconsistent states.
The release also improves administrative management of templates and participant criteria, including import, normalization, and catalogue maintenance tools. Updates to sample data, analytics accuracy, and billing-related account handling further strengthen platform reliability.

Fred v0.9.8 introduces major improvements across study design, behavioural analysis, and reporting. Teams gain more control over conditional study flows, while participants can resume interrupted tests more reliably.
Video analytics received a redesigned experience alongside AI-generated summaries and clearer consent safeguards. The report editor moved to a more capable editing foundation, improving the creation and maintenance of evidence-based reports. The release also addressed a broad set of issues affecting authentication, tester journeys, analytics, translations, and study configuration.
Fred v0.9.7 Hotfix
This hotfix resolves an import issue in the Study Editor that could interrupt study configuration and prevent existing study content from loading correctly.
The correction restores a more reliable editing experience and allows teams to continue preparing studies without rebuilding affected content.
Fred v0.9.6
Fred v0.9.6 expands several core areas of the platform. Teams gain a richer template experience, improved onboarding, and stronger participant management through tester pools, invitations, ratings, and scheduled outreach.
Analytics and reporting also received substantial attention, including improved card-sorting analysis, sentiment views, charting, exports, and report editing. Internationalization, administrative tools, sample projects, and mobile onboarding were strengthened to make Fred more accessible and dependable for a wider range of teams.

Fred v0.8.6 established the foundations of the platform. Teams could create and manage studies, invite participants, review analytics, and turn findings into structured reports from one connected workspace.
